Full-Service Bathroom Remodeling

This is definitely our number one most asked question.  The cost of a bathroom remodel can vary greatly from house to house and also varies based on materials used in the project.  For an average sized (5 feet x 10 feet) tile bathroom, the range is usually between $18,000-$20,000.  For the same sized bathroom using a less expensive product like Sentrel and a vinyl floor, the range is usually between $16,000-$18,000. 

This varies mostly on the materials used and if the "footprint" of the bathroom is changed.  For an average sized (5 feet x 10 feet) tile bathroom with layout staying the same, the timeframe to complete is normally no more than two weeks.  For the same size bathroom using Sentrel and a vinyl click floor, the timeframe is usually around a week start to finish.  

The number one most important factor is to make sure the contractor is licensed in the particular part of the project they will be working on.  For example, if a contractor is working on your plumbing, then they MUST be a licensed plumber to legally make any changes to your plumbing.  A "general contractor" or "residential builder" license does NOT cover plumbing or any other mechanical work.  

It's also very important to make sure the contractor has good liability insurance (at least one million dollars) and also good reviews and references.
